Why the TPT association?

Introducing truffles and truffles to as many people as possible

The world of truffles often appears to be a mysterious and ... inaccessible world. The Trufficulture Pour Tous association, created in 2016 and based in Dordogne, aims to introduce truffles and truffles to a diverse audience: schoolchildren, people with reduced mobility, people with disabilities, non-French speaking people, etc. mid-term ambition is to obtain the "Tourism and Handicap" label.

History of the Trufficulture Pour Tous association

The initial idea was born when we created our truffle farm in 2014. After many years of research, we fell in love with a land located near Sainte Alvère in the heart of Périgord. Before creating our truffle field on this hill previously planted with vines, we visited many truffle fields. Although very informative from a technical point of view, these visits brought to light the difficulties of accessibility of a majority of the truffle sites. The idea was born: our truffle farm will be educational and adapted to all handicaps. November 2016: filing of statutes at the prefecture and creation of the association "Trufficulture pour Tous". November 2017 - January 2018: success of the crowdfunding campaign on the tudigo.co platform thank you friends and family! March 2018: Brush clearing and site preparation for the TPT hut April 2018: submission of the prior request for work on the TPT hut November 2018: fencing work around the educational truffle. August 2019: works authorization obtained September 2019: pouring of the concrete slab October 2019: selection of the Trufficulture Pour Tous project in the 1st participatory budget of the Dordogne General Council November 2019: planting of truffle trees from the educational truffle and creation of the arboretum December 2019 - February 2020: assembly of the TPT association hut, stain and paint April 2020: Creation of the logo and visual identity of the association Trufficulture Pour Tous May 2020: creation of the Facebook page "Association Trufficulture Pour Tous "June 2020: creation of the promotional clip with the partnership of Pone, founder of the Fonky Family for sound.

The "Tourism and Handicap" Label

All the work carried out on the truffle is designed with a view to obtaining the "Tourism and Handicap" label in the short term.
